OTR: Bollywood Dance Makes Its Way to "On the Record" (ep 93)
When inspiring people with incredible stories or organizations come "On the Record," it seems as though all the negative noise of the world is silenced for a little bit. On this edition, Sarina is honored to share the news desk with two women who proudly represent Tampa’s LAMPLighters. Debbie Trujillo, previous LAMPLighters President, and Amy Hull, the LAMPLighters Vice-President, give the full rundown of their organization’s mission that is committed to helping our community’s homeless and at-risk children since 1986. LAMPLighters currently encompass over 200 women with a passion to serve families and children that are in need of health, education, and rehabilitation resources, all while providing opportunities for spiritual development. By supporting residents that seek shelter at Metropolitan Ministries and the Joshua House, these dedicated women are continuing to 1light the way” for these displaced families.
